Translation:

Al-Samee and Al-Baseer are two of the 99 Beautiful Names of Allah

Al-Samee: The All- Hearing, The Ever-Listening. The One who hears everything - every word, every voice, thought, and secret. He listens to everything perfectly and without limits.

Al-Baseer: The One Who Sees everything – hidden and concealed, all at the same time, in the entire universe. The One Who Sees and Perceives Every Detail.

The two names have been paired in the following verses:

‘Exalted is He who took His Servant by night from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al- Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed, to show him of Our signs. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Seeing.’ (Quran 17:1)

‘[He is] Creator of the heavens and the earth. He has made for you from yourselves, mates, and among the cattle, mates; He multiplies you thereby. There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the Hearing, the Seeing.’ (Quran 42:11)

‘And Allah judges with truth, while those they invoke besides Him judge not with anything. Indeed, Allah - He is the Hearing, the Seeing.’ (Quran 40:20)
