Translation:

Al- Ghafoor and Al-Raheem are two of the 99 Beautiful Names of Allah

Al Ghafoor: The One who Forgives Greatly. The One Who Accepts our repentance, Forgives us completely and covers our faults

Al-Raheem: The Most Merciful

Al Ghafoor Al-Raheem is among the most commonly paired Names of Allah in the Quran. Because Allah is Ar-Raheem (Most Merciful), He Forgives us (Al-Ghafoor).

The two Names have been paired in the following verses:

“He has only forbidden to you dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah . But whoever is forced [by necessity], neither desiring [it] nor transgressing [its limit], there is no sin upon him. Indeed, Allah is Much-Forgiving and Merciful.” (Quran 2:173)

“Then depart from the place from where [all] the people depart and ask forgiveness of Allah . Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.” (Quran 2:199)

“Except for those who repent after that and correct themselves. For indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.” (Quran 3:89)

“The heavens almost break from above them, and the angels exalt [ Allah ] with praise of their Lord and ask forgiveness for those on earth. Unquestionably, it is Allah who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.” (Quran 42:5)
